What is Bespoke Framing?
HAND-MADE
Individually crafted
Our Bespoke frames are hand-made in our Hastings workshop using traditional techniques. We don't outsource any of our construction, and your frame will be crafted to your exact specifications. We are a family-run business, and take great pride in creating well-made, beautiful frames!
CONSERVATION
Better protection
Apart from making artwork & photos look their best, a well-framed piece can also help to protect your items. If you have something irreplaceable or expensive, getting it professionally framed will help to keep it conserved for longer. We offer different levels of framing depending on your budget & how much protection an item needs.
UNIQUE
Made just for you
The best thing about getting a Bespoke frame, is that you can choose every single element to match your own style & the needs of your items. We offer hundreds of mouldings and can customise mounts with ornamentation and lines, or hand-painted designs. The choice is yours!
ADVICE
Professional knowledge
Not sure where to start? No idea what colour you want or what level of protection your items need? We've got you - get in touch and we can talk you through everything! We don't charge for consultations or quotes and will never push you in to something you aren't sure about.
1 / Arrange a consultation or drop in
We're open for drop-in consultations every Friday - Monday. No need to book, just come and say hello!
If you have another day or time that works better for you, just get in touch & we will arrange an appointment!

All consultations & quotes are free of charge.
2 / Come & see us!
Make sure you bring the item/s that you want framed to your consultation. Without seeing the item/s we will not be able to suggest the best methods of framing for them, or be able to quote you for any work.

During the consultation we will assess the item/s to decide on the best way of framing them. We will also let you know the suggested level of framing required depending on the nature of the item/s and media used.

We will then help you choose how you want to frame the item, from the moulding to the mount and even the method of hanging! Everything is customisable just for you.

You'll be able to choose how many quotes you want, to see how different mouldings or glazings change the price.

At the end of your consultation, you can choose to leave your item with us, or take it home with you and drop it off when you have approved your quote.
3 / After your consultation
We'll be in touch via email within 48 hours to send you any quote/s that you requested.

Once you have decided on the quote you want to go ahead with, please let us know. We also need to know whether you want to pay in full straight away, or would rather pay a 50% deposit now and then 50% on or before collection.

We will then send you an invoice. Once you have paid, we will order the materials needed for your frame and get to work!
4 / How long does it take?
Our lead time is 2-4 weeks as we work with several different suppliers and some only deliver to our area once a week. It will also depend on the complexity of your frame.

We will always do our very best to get your frame made as soon as possible! If you do need something framing for a specific date (e.g. an exhibition, anniversary or birthday) please let us know and we will see what we can do. We may not always be able to accommodate you though, so it is best to plan in advance to avoid disappointment!
5 / Collection
Once your frame has been completed, we will email you to let you know that it is ready for collection. You can collect from the Studio on any of our drop in hours on Friday - Monday. If you have a date or time that suits you better we can arrange an appointment for you - just let us know.

If there is any outstanding payment, this must be made on or before collection.
6 / Enjoy!
We hope you love your frame and it brings you joy for years to come!
